About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at PCS Property Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that they are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring that they are properly maintained and cared for.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Organize the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, as well as plan and direct grounds maintenance.
  • Labour and Materials Planning: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for grounds maintenance and construction projects.
  • Landscape Construction: Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring that it is completed to a high standard.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs, including tendering and administering contracts.
  • Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Working Conditions

This role involves working outdoors, and the successful candidate must be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.

The primary language spoken in this role is English.
