About the Role
Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular Part-time Donor Services Representative to join our dynamic Donor Centre team.
The Donor Centre team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting donor blood in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every day.
In this role, you will be providing excellent customer service by greeting donors, confirming appointments, rebooking donors at events, and serving potential donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Confirm appointments, rebook donors at events, and serve potential donors in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with the Donor Centre team to ensure a successful donor centre event.
- Ensure the workstation is ready and working properly to support the donor centre, including getting the computer and printer ready, ensuring the appointment schedule is printed, and updating the booking system online.
Requirements
- Completion of high school.
- One year of experience in a hospitality or customer service-oriented environment or previous experience working with volunteers would be considered an asset.
- Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
- Physical requirements for the role include the ability to lift weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs.).

Work Environment
- This is a float line, working in various locations including the Lower Mainland Mobiles, Surrey fixed site, Oak St and Downtown fixed sites.
- Work hours vary, including stat holidays.
- Travel will be required for mobile events in our communities, and transportation will be provided by Canadian Blood Services.
