Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Financial Planning Leader to join the Stonewood Group Inc. team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis efforts, driving business growth, and ensuring the company's financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Lead the analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial analysts and planners to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    • Mentor and coach team members to ensure career growth and development.
  • Strategic Planning and Decision-Making
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to make informed decisions that align with business objectives.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate financial plans and results to senior leadership and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business success.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with increasing responsibility.
    • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and analysis in large complex organizations.
    • Experience with budgeting tools such as Clarity, Hyperian Financial Management, SAP, or other similar software solutions.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Word and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with Tier one budgeting and forecasting tools.
    • Strong quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills.
    • Advanced understanding of financial statements.
