About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Boathouse Restaurants of Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Staff Recruitment and Management: Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
