About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at BrdigeWater Retirement Centre Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and feed patients, promoting a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms, making beds, and ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Communication: Answer call signals, determining patients' needs and responding promptly.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect specimens as required, following established protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
