We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Centre Inc.

Job Summary

The Home Support Worker will provide personal care and support to our residents, assisting with daily living activities and promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Assist with laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Activities: Encourage residents to engage in regular exercise and participate in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
