Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Bridgewater Retirement Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Home Support Worker will provide personal care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding and dressing
  • Participate in regular exercise and activities with residents
  • Assist with laundry and household tasks
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy
