About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at El Puerto de Acajutla. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our guests.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet the demands of our guests.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control kitchen costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
