Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at KFC Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality food is served to our customers.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
- Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant data to management.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
- Duration of Employment: Permanent.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
