The Strategy & Innovation team plays a pivotal role in pinpointing, assessing, and executing growth and innovation strategies across the organization, emphasizing strategic planning, project implementation, and ongoing business development through technological advancements.

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the Strategy & Innovation Manager, the Strategy & Innovation Intern will have a distinctive opportunity to impact the business by engaging in research, analysis, strategic planning, and insight generation aimed at improving fan engagement, enhancing business outcomes, and supporting overall organizational growth.

Our organization is committed to the success of our interns through comprehensive onboarding processes. Interns within the Strategy & Innovation team will manage projects from inception to completion and collaborate with cross-functional teams, interacting with stakeholders throughout the organization. We prioritize mentorship and networking opportunities during the internship to support professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop engaging Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to convey analysis and insights Assist in the conceptualization and development of both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives using a data-informed approach Lead or support the creation of business cases and the execution of pilot projects Prepare and present strategic reports for diverse audiences, including senior management and partners Aid in establishing KPIs and benchmarks for new strategic initiatives Conduct research and provide insights on industry-standard practices in sports and entertainment Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement ad-hoc projects Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures Undertake additional administrative or service-related tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Capable of defining business challenges and initiating research and analysis to provide actionable recommendations Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a keen attention to detail Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Team-oriented, positive, and energetic demeanor Previous experience in research and analysis, including modeling and analytics, is advantageous Experience in project management is a plus Availability for full-time hours with flexibility for event-related work
