Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Station Team Lead to join our team at Chevron. As a Gas Station Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and that our store is running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Train and develop sales staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Make decisions on staffing levels, scheduling, and employee performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the daily operations of the gas station, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
    • Ensure that the store is clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
    • Manage the ordering and receipt of merchandise, including fuel, food, and other supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive excellent service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the cash handling and financial transactions of the store, including making change and handling customer payments.
    • Monitor sales and inventory levels, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Work Setting
