LRO Staffing is proud to partner with a family-owned General Contractor and Developer with a 75-year history of success and numerous high-profile projects. With sustained growth in the GTA market, they seek a Manager of People and Culture to join their team. This role will cover a Maternity Leave for 12-15 months, overseeing human resources challenges, staffing, strategy, employee engagement, training, development, compensation reviews, and coaching leaders.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 5-10 years of human resource, recruitment, or People and Culture experience. Leadership experience, particularly in managing a small team, is an asset. The successful candidate will be passionate about driving positive change, fostering employee growth, and contributing to a culture of excellence. They must demonstrate the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization, with proven experience leading and managing HR projects and initiatives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices is also required.
