Pension Solutions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Solutions Manager to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our BPA division, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day administration of a portfolio of Client Pension Plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multiple teams of pension administration professionals in maintaining accurate defined benefit and/or defined contribution pension plan records, calculations, and communication.
- Perform peer reviews and participate in the production of daily work, year-end validations, annual statements, and regulatory filings.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for questions regarding special cases, legislation, and plan interpretations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team engagement and morale.
- Communicate new legislative rules and plan provisions to staff and assist with required training.
- Participate in the testing of new/updated administrative tools and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure high client service levels and participate in client meetings as required.
- Escalate client and member inquiries to senior management as necessary.
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize work and assignments.
- Work with senior pension administration staff to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions.
- Lead the planning and rollout of projects and company initiatives.
- Participate in FTE planning and contribute to business growth as a key member of our leadership team.
- Recruit and onboard new staff, including submission of HR forms and IT setup requests.
- Manage personnel and HR policies, including performance reviews.
- Oversee client invoicing and revenue.
- Provide regular reports to senior managers and executives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service environment, preferably related to defined benefit pension administration.
- Detailed knowledge of defined benefit pension plan administration, actuarial assumptions, CIA recommendations, and legislative regulations for Ontario and other jurisdictions.
- Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate changes to pension provisions and regulations.
