Operations Coordinator Control Room Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Room Coordinator to join our team at Purolator Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and track the arrivals and departures of all vehicles at the Warehouse/Sort facility.
- Maintain an accurate log of all transportation activities and communicate with drivers, vendors, and the network team.
- Monitor yard access and inventory of all inbound and outbound trailers.
- Review daily transportation requirements and ensure correct equipment is used to meet volume agreements.
- Handle operational and shipping issues to mitigate customer, operational, and financial impacts.
- Engage with Management, Sales, and Customer Service teams to communicate delays in shipments.
- Responsible for the distribution and tracking of equipment issued to Transport team.
- Ensure completions of daily Yard Checks and entry into YMS.
- Control and establish accurate arrival and departure times of all linehaul units.
- Provide continuous updates of yard positions.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor yard access for trailers.
- Partner and collaborate with Managers, Team Leaders, shunters, drivers, and Carriers to ensure no disruption in operations.
- Act as a central communication point and lead communication with the network team.
- Diploma in Administration or equivalent combination of education and training.
- 2-5 years of control room coordinator experience in the industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Excel and application-based software.
- Experience communicating with all levels of business.
