About the Role

GTA DOOR SYSTEMS LTDS is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of glass products, including doors, windows, and other glass structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Fabrication: Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project, and ensure accurate measurements and cuts are made.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, and install door, window, and other hardware.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test installed glass products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and instruct apprentices, and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and develop plans for efficient installation and completion.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Spanish and Hebrew an asset.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in glass installation and fabrication is required.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with frequent handling of heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Tools and Equipment: Own tools and equipment, including safety equipment and gear.
