About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Toronto Glass. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of glass installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate glass installation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Site Preparation: Conduct site assessments to identify potential challenges and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Material Procurement: Source and procure high-quality glass materials, adhering to specifications and budget requirements.
  • Installation Execution: Lead installation teams to ensure efficient and safe installation of glass products, including cutting, measuring, and assembling.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and company expectations.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a relevant trade program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in glass installation, fabrication, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in glass cutting, measuring, and assembling techniques; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
