Job Title: Truck Driver Supervisor

M H Dhaliwal Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, dispatching bus drivers, and monitoring routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to optimize transportation logistics
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet business objectives
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Recommend personnel actions to support employee development and retention
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support operations
Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced transportation environment with a team of 5-10 people. You will be responsible for supporting employees with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
