About the Role

Vancity is seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Participate in the development and execution of the enterprise strategy and annual business plan, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates on progress against business plan to senior leaders and the board of directors through written reports and presentations.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Curate and synthesize complex data sets, drawing out key insights and gathering information from primary and secondary research on industry trends, market developments, and innovative technologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to gain insights, understand pain points, identify gaps, and opportunities for our organization.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or comparable designation in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field, with strong academic results.
  • Experience: Proven experience in strategy, innovation, management consulting, research, financial analysis, or equivalent.
  • Thought Leadership: Many years of work experience as a thought leader, bringing passion and curiosity to your work.
  • Results-Oriented: Strong track record of delivering outstanding results, including research and data analysis, and sharing clear insights with senior stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with experience producing large documents and reports in an easy-to-digest, concise, visually appealing, and informative manner.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency with Microsoft suite of products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: MBA, CPA, or comparable graduate degree.
  • Industry Knowledge: Interest or exposure to venture capital markets and technology, including AI, open banking, FinTech, digital assets, and decentralized finance.

What We Offer

Vancity offers a competitive salary range of $81,200 to $122,000, with the upper half of the range typically reserved for individuals who possess a high level of job knowledge and skill. We value lived experience and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
