About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Olds Oasis Organic Inc. as a key member of our cultivation and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Assist in the cultivation and maintenance of horticultural crops, ensuring optimal growth and quality.
  • Harvesting and Processing: Participate in the harvesting and processing of fresh produce, including cutting, dividing, and preparing crops for market.
  • Plant Care: Provide regular care and maintenance to plants, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning.
  • Soil Preparation: Assist in the preparation and mixing of soils for optimal plant growth.
  • Task Management: Assist in the completion of various tasks, including weeding, seed cutting, and grafting.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily progress and report any signs of insect or disease damage.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and extended periods of standing.
