Lead Software Engineer – Edge Computing Specialist

Overview: As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in steering the technical vision and enhancing the performance of our edge computing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make strategic decisions regarding the technical direction, scalability, and overall system efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and oversee distributed Kubernetes clusters at the edge to accommodate diverse applications and workloads.
  • Establish and enforce stringent security protocols to safeguard our edge computing infrastructure and sensitive data.
  • Optimize network settings to guarantee low-latency communication and ensure high availability.
  • Implement data protection strategies to secure critical information processed at the edge.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage all stages of technical projects, from initial conception through to successful completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project specifications, monitor progress, and manage budgets effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python and Golang.
  • Strong understanding of Linux environments and embedded systems based on Linux.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in edge computing settings.
  • Familiarity with networking principles and protocols, particularly in edge computing contexts.
  • Experience in managing and integrating edge devices.
