At ROSS, we specialize in aligning People Strategies with business growth through tailored HR and Recruitment solutions, including Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Recruitment Augmentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Design and implement embedded software (C/C++, Linux/QNX/PSOS) within a multi-platform development setting (Windows) for managing analytical instruments and medical devices utilizing high-speed communication protocols, real-time data collection, and digital/analog inputs/outputs.
  2. Adhere to the complete design lifecycle, encompassing project planning, subsystem requirements documentation, design processes, code evaluations, and the creation of relevant artifacts.
  3. Develop and execute verification strategies for units and subsystems in simulated, emulated, and laboratory conditions.
  4. Create and sustain both manual and automated verification frameworks along with an automated build environment.
  5. Engage collaboratively within a cross-functional development team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  1. Over 10 years of design and programming experience with Linux, QNX, or POSIX operating systems.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  3. In-depth experience in embedded Linux, QNX, or PSOS programming, including cross-development and device driver creation.
  4. Extensive knowledge of object-oriented and multithreaded programming in C/C++ for Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  5. Strong background in software design principles, design patterns, and modeling techniques.
  6. Familiarity with development tools such as logic analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
  7. Comprehensive understanding of microprocessor architectures, interfaces, and digital logic.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces (e.g., I2C, DMA, PCIe, Ethernet).
  2. Experience with Visual Studio and Windows development (C++ and/or C#, .NET).
  3. Familiarity with Freescale microprocessors.
