We are seeking a visionary Software Engineering Manager to lead our software development team in creating game-changing solutions that will shape the future of our industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of talented software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Lead the hiring process for new team members, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with the Director and senior leaders to ensure that software projects align with Steelcon's strategic goals.
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Lead software projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and participate in strategic planning sessions to shape the future of Steelcon's digital initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development management, with a deep technical background and hands-on coding expertise.
- Demonstrated success in managing, mentoring, and building high-performing development teams.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting detailed technical documentation.
- Experience working closely with Product Management, Data Science, and Business partners to align technical solutions with business objectives.
