About the Role:
PROTECTION PLUS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Commercial Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads for new medium-to-large-sized commercial properties in the Greater Toronto Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales forecasts and targets consistently
- Build relationships with potential customers and work through the sales bidding and qualification process
- Develop and maintain knowledge in market development and networking abilities in B2B, medium, large, and commercial enterprises
- Visit, analyze, design, and propose innovative systems solutions
- Lead, coordinate, and prepare professional sales proposals and respond to tenders/bids as required
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent education
- 3+ Years of Customer Service or Sales experience, preferably selling to commercial clients
- Strong objection/concern handling skill set
- Highly energetic and personable with a driven, self-starter attitude
- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment with loosely defined boundaries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of security industry concepts, database connectivity, and basic LAN concepts
- Successful experience in a Sales Development role(s) selling Electronic Security Products to all sizes of commercial establishments up to and including large multi-site enterprises
- Knowledge of bid submission process for tendered jobs
- Knowledge of construction, technology, and security industry
- Proficiency in access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV products and concepts
