Canada PROTECTION PLUS Full time $45,000 - $150,000

About the Role:

PROTECTION PLUS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Commercial Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads for new medium-to-large-sized commercial properties in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales forecasts and targets consistently
  • Build relationships with potential customers and work through the sales bidding and qualification process
  • Develop and maintain knowledge in market development and networking abilities in B2B, medium, large, and commercial enterprises
  • Visit, analyze, design, and propose innovative systems solutions
  • Lead, coordinate, and prepare professional sales proposals and respond to tenders/bids as required

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent education
  • 3+ Years of Customer Service or Sales experience, preferably selling to commercial clients
  • Strong objection/concern handling skill set
  • Highly energetic and personable with a driven, self-starter attitude
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment with loosely defined boundaries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of security industry concepts, database connectivity, and basic LAN concepts
  • Successful experience in a Sales Development role(s) selling Electronic Security Products to all sizes of commercial establishments up to and including large multi-site enterprises
  • Knowledge of bid submission process for tendered jobs
  • Knowledge of construction, technology, and security industry
  • Proficiency in access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV products and concepts
