About the Role

American Iron and Metals Company (AIM) is seeking a skilled Ferrous Receiver to join its team at the AIM Recycling site in Amos. As a key member of our recycling team, you will be responsible for the reception and shipment of Non-Ferrous metals, ensuring the smooth operation of production and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and unload vehicles as needed
  • Sort and inspect metals according to their characteristics
  • Identify and validate the quality of metals
  • Operate various machinery, including loaders and forklifts
  • Assist with torch cutting and maintain a clean workspace

Requirements

  • Experience operating a forklift and loader (an asset)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of metal recycling (major asset)

What We Offer

  • Average working hours Monday to Friday from 8 to 5
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
  • Full-time employment with 100% job security guaranteed
