Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a daily ferrous receiver for its AIM Recycling site in Amos . Under the authority of the Site Supervisor, the position holder will be responsible for the reception and shipment of Non-Ferrous metals. He must also participate in the smooth running of production and the cleanliness of the premises, in particular by sorting metals. He must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and respecting safety instructions.

Greet customers by following our procedures and requirements; Unload customer vehicles as needed; Sort the different metals according to their characteristics; Inspect customer metals; Identify the right type of metal and validate its quality; Work with different types of machinery (mainly loader and forklift); Assist with torch cutting as needed; Ensure the cleanliness of the premises; Perform other related duties.

Qualifications

Experience operating a forklift and loader (an asset); Has one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position; Knowledge of metal recycling (major asset)

Additional Information

Average working hours Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 ; Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours; Full-time employment; 100% job security guaranteed
