Position Overview

The Assistant Manager for Restaurant Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing daily activities within the establishment, ensuring a high standard of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Determine the types of services to be provided and implement effective operational procedures.
  • Financial Oversight: Balance cash and complete financial documentation including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and manage costs associated with products and services.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
  • Client Negotiation: Engage with clients regarding catering services and facility usage.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and instruct team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to all patrons.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
