We are seeking Auxiliary On-Call Library Assistant 2's to support the efficient functioning of our Circulation team and enhance the welcoming atmosphere of our libraries.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Circulation team, your duties will include:
- Delivering exceptional service to patrons and addressing inquiries regarding standard library operations, both in-person and via phone.
- Managing the circulation of library materials, processing payments, and handling inventory logistics.
- Facilitating patron registration for library membership.
- Organizing, sorting, and shelving library resources.
- Assisting patrons with self-service technologies.
- Conducting daily cash reconciliations and managing bank deposits.
- Executing opening and closing procedures for the library.
- Resolving issues related to multi-function devices and addressing behavioral concerns in public areas.

- A high school diploma along with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with standard office equipment.
- The physical capability to manage heavy library materials and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will be viewed favorably:
- Previous experience in a circulation role within a public library setting.
- Familiarity with automated library circulation systems.
- A willingness to embrace uncertainty and a desire to expand knowledge.
