Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly within a legal context. This is a full-time, permanent role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We offer a fulfilling and challenging work environment along with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing a comprehensive accounts receivable collection process that encompasses:
- Client interactions
- Tracking of accounts receivable
- Internal communication regarding collection activities
- Identifying and resolving issues related to overdue accounts
- Assisting the Billing Specialist in preparing and distributing monthly client invoices.
- Providing backup support for the processing of received payments.
- Participating in ad hoc projects for the accounting team as required.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions.
- Experience within a legal environment.
- Diploma or certification in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong client service skills, both external and internal, with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a knack for quickly identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
