Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Lake Country Radio Cafe. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Provide guidance and support to our kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other culinary team members, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food preparation and presentation meets the highest standards of food safety and quality, and that our kitchen operations are in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu demands.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage our kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, team player, and judgment.
