We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Sales Representative to join our team at Industrial Specialty Services (ISS). As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and profit goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
- Conduct sales and service activities, including preparing quotations and proposals, negotiating terms, and closing transactions
- Organize and conduct training sessions for customers
- Monitor market and competitive conditions
- Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related matters
- Review work sites and take measurements for equipment at customer locations
- 5+ years of proven outside industrial sales experience
- Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new approaches
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
- Experience working in industrial facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, Liquid Natural Gas facilities, pipelines, and upstream oil and gas facilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to pass a fitness-for-duty test to enter and work in industrial facilities
- Ability to pass a Nuclear Security Background Check
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
