About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Sales Representative to join our team at Industrial Specialty Services (ISS). As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct sales and service activities, including preparing quotations and proposals, negotiating terms, and closing transactions
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for customers
  • Monitor market and competitive conditions
  • Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related matters
  • Review work sites and take measurements for equipment at customer locations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven outside industrial sales experience
  • Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new approaches
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
  • Experience working in industrial facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, Liquid Natural Gas facilities, pipelines, and upstream oil and gas facilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to pass a fitness-for-duty test to enter and work in industrial facilities
  • Ability to pass a Nuclear Security Background Check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
