Job Overview

Herman's Supply Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business with contractors in the store and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales from walk-in clients, our website, business partners, marketing campaigns, email requests, and other methods.
  • Qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs.
  • Field and respond to incoming calls and other inquiries.
  • Cold-calling contractors and related lead generation.
  • Attain and exceed direct and cross-sell sales goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required; experience dealing with contractors a definite asset.
  • Sales experience in the construction industry is preferable.
  • Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas.
  • Proficient organizational skills and good problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good general computer skills.
  • Previous telephone sales experience.
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
