Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Completion of a Civil Engineering Technologist program
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in operating site levels and rotating lasers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word at an intermediate level
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as blueprints, operational documents, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Experience with AutoCAD and GIS applications
  • Understanding of effective construction staking techniques
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Station is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess graded surfaces utilizing various surveying instruments including site levels, laser levels, and total stations
  • Conduct as-built surveys of installed infrastructure, ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of project as-built data
  • Generate layout data for project execution
  • Carry out quantity calculations and monitor daily field quantities along with survey documentation
