Construction Site Superintendent

Drake International is seeking a highly experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects, crews, and subcontractors. This is a full-time, permanent position located on-site in the Kingston and Napanee regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with contract documents and prepare project layouts.
- Plan, organize, and assign tasks to crews and subcontractors.
- Lead by example, educate, coach, develop, and direct workers with clear instructions and feedback.
- Monitor crew productivity and track work hours.
- Check the quality of work against specifications and building codes.
- Implement, manage, and monitor safety programs.
- Manage, receive, and report materials on-site.
- Oversee the storage, security, and maintenance of tools and manuals.
- Proactively solve problems, draft RFIs, manage SIs and COs, as-builts, etc.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of proven ICI construction management experience, which may include roles such as Assistant Site Superintendent, Senior Carpenter/Foreman, Site Superintendent, or Construction Project Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OHSA regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Clear criminal record.
- Physical condition suitable for the demands of the role.
- Certifications in WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, and Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness.

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- 3 years of construction experience (preferred)
