Position Overview:
We are seeking a Controller to oversee our financial operations and lead our accounting team within a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a robust financial control framework.
- Enhance the overall performance and efficiency of the accounting department.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
- Motivate and coach team members to achieve high performance.
- Drive sales and uphold financial integrity across the organization.
- Analyze financial data and prepare accurate monthly financial statements.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- Post-secondary education in finance or accounting.
- CPA, CA designation is preferred.
- Experience in the automotive dealership sector is an asset.
- Proficient in analyzing and preparing business financial statements.
- Advanced technical and computer skills are essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of senior financial experience is required.
