Position Overview:
We are in search of a Financial Controller to become an integral part of our leadership team, comprised of customer-centric professionals within our high-volume, process-oriented dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial control framework of the dealership, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency within the accounting department.
- Engage in ongoing planning and collaboration with department leaders to achieve objectives, goals, and growth strategies.
- Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures while motivating and coaching team members to enhance performance.
- Drive improvements in operational efficiencies, sales performance, and champion financial controls.
- Analyze both new and ongoing situations, collaborating with department managers to support planning and control activities necessary for preparing monthly financial statements.
- Communicate effectively with managers across various disciplines, simplifying complex information for clarity.

The ideal candidate will understand the importance of customer choice in vehicle purchasing and servicing, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service that reflects real value for our customers' investments.

Essential Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Post-Secondary Education
- CPA, CA Designation preferred
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership is preferred
- Proficient in analyzing and creating business financial statements
- Advanced technical and computer skills are essential
- A minimum of 5 years of senior financial experience
