Job Title: Securities Lawyer

destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Securities Lawyer to advise clients on matters related to securities law, including public offerings, private placements, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on securities law, including public offerings, private placements, and compliance with securities regulations.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents related to securities transactions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for securities-related transactions.
  • Stay informed of changes in securities law and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, including M&A, governance, and compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
