This role is set in a bustling restaurant atmosphere, where efficiency and customer satisfaction are paramount.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
- Calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
- Prepare financial plans and cost projections
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of meals
- Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen personnel
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Keep track of inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment
Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Security and Safety RequirementsBasic security clearance is required for this position.
