Job Summary:

Vantage Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team. As a Child and Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children and youth in a group home setting. Your primary focus will be on promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to children and youth, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, counselors, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress notes and incident reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field, such as social work, child and youth care, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
