Bilingual LTD Claims Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Bilingual LTD Claims Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service and support to our insured members throughout the long term disability (LTD) claims process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to insured members throughout the LTD claims process, including the initial application and appeal process.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of complex claims issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local unions, medical practitioners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to insured members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the quality of service and efficiency of the LTD claims process.
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- A minimum of five years' experience in group disability insurance, with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex claims issues.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
