Job Summary

Nedco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Winnipeg location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the Regional Manager to create and recommend sales strategies, marketing objectives, and sales volume and profit forecasts.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
  • Workforce Management: Prepare or ensure the preparation of work schedules to ensure adequate workflow for all areas, including counter sales and inside sales functions.
  • Team Leadership: Hire personnel in the Branch in accordance with Company standards and procedures, promoting a positive work climate.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures, including inventory control, delivery, billing, and collection, and security.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies between inventory counts and stock control records, recommending remedial action.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A college education plus 3-5 years of related experience within the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
  • Management Experience: At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Business Acumen: Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies to meet/exceed fiscal plans and targets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications and AS400 experience would be an asset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Must have experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.
