About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Mary Brown's Peterborough. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading the recruitment and talent management process, as well as developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives to drive business growth and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgetary Management: Oversee the management of a budget of $100,001 - $500,000, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Establish and implement policies and procedures to support business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, and oversee the classification and rating of occupations.
  • Employee Experience: Manage contracts, training and development strategies, and oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions.
  • Communication and Reporting: Develop and implement communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders, and oversee the preparation of reports to inform business decisions.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of HR initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a proven track record of success in recruitment, talent management, and HR strategy.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
