Job Summary

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol interior and exterior of facilities to prevent unauthorized entry and respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, and additional breaches of security.
  • Use two-way radios and communicate in a professional manner under all circumstances.
  • Respond to incidents and write reports as required.
  • Monitor and screen visitors and clients in a professional manner to grant access to facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Code of Conduct/Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with varying shifts. The successful candidate must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
