**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within our healthcare facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Patrol interior and exterior of facilities to prevent unauthorized entry and monitor risks such as unlocked doors and blocked entrances and exits.
* Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance, and investigate routine incidents.
* Monitor situations, cameras, property, and events to ensure a safe and secure environment.
* Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors to provide information and assistance as needed.
* Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful relations.
* Monitor and screen visitors and clients in a professional manner to grant access to the facility.

**Working Conditions:**

* Work on assigned shifts, including 8-12 hour shifts, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
* Stand and walk for long periods of time, and be able to respond quickly to emergencies.

**Requirements:**

* Superior customer service skills and ability to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.
* Ability to think quickly on your feet and defuse difficult situations.
* Track record of handling a great deal of responsibility and varied life experience.
