About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Service Manager to join our team at Emera Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of audit plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in our business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and drive business improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in audit management, preferably in a SOx compliance environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business processes.
  • Professional certifications, such as CPA or CMA, are an asset.
