Role Overview

The eCommerce Strategy Manager will work closely with the Chief of Staff within Lenovo's Global eCommerce division, playing a pivotal role in defining and steering the strategic vision for digital growth. This position will oversee key strategic initiatives and contribute to the annual planning process, ensuring alignment on global strategic priorities and investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive strategic business analytics to identify emerging trends and technologies, ensuring alignment on subsequent initiatives.
  • Develop insightful analyses and business models addressing critical strategic questions faced by the organization.
  • Collaborate in the annual corporate strategy planning cycle by creating a framework for Global eCommerce strategy, synthesizing insights, and preparing deliverables.
  • Prepare high-level presentations for Senior Executives (CEO, COO) covering strategy, financial performance, and operational metrics.
  • Formulate execution plans for strategic projects and facilitate transitions to business units or the COO Transformation Office.
  • Leverage advanced interpersonal skills to foster trust and engagement across diverse geographies and business units.
  • Establish and oversee executive steering committees focused on strategic initiatives.
  • Implement Business Management Systems (BMS) for the measurement and tracking of operational KPIs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Chief of Staff and Vice President/General Manager of Global eCommerce.
  • Maintain a strong customer-centric approach, advocating for customer needs and perspectives.
  • Collaborate effectively, demonstrating the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in eCommerce.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced business training, such as an MBA.
  • Experience in management consulting, eCommerce, and working within multinational/global organizations.
  • Passion for technology and experience in the personal technology sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and P&L management.
  • A flexible, ambitious team player focused on achieving broader organizational goals.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate global responsibilities.
