About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, or Yellowknife. As a key member of our Water Resources Engineering Group, you will be responsible for leading and managing various water resources projects, including flood assessments, flood mapping, and hydrotechnical assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or manage water resources projects, including flood assessments, flood mapping, and hydrotechnical assessments.
  • Participate in hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, including design of hydraulic structures and surface water diversions.
  • Manage multiple project deadlines, budgets, and scope changes.
  • Prepare proposals and technical reports.
  • Lead or manage multi-disciplinary project teams, collaborating and working efficiently with engineers, scientists, and managers at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Eligibility for immediate registration with APEGA, APEGS, or NAPEG as a Professional Engineer.
  • 10 years minimum experience in Water Resources Engineering projects.
  • Experience with water management infrastructure design and construction, tender preparation, and construction administration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, mentoring, writing, and people skills.
