About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our games and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for all engine, procedural, tooling, and rendering teams.
  • Collaborate with senior programmers, software developers, and tech artists to optimize engine performance and monitor rendering.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and share updates with the wider QA team.
  • Use development tools to identify issues and promote defect prevention.
  • Identify and propose high-value automation and telemetry use cases to evaluate performance and optimization efforts.
  • Provide qualitative feedback to improve overall product quality and the perception of art, content, and features used in our games.
  • Determine how to use player and internal data to support features at both design and review stages.
  • Collaborate and promote best practices across the organization and share experiences across multiple studios.
  • Report progress and status through regular communication with managers and partner teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control working in an embedded, integrated product team.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and equivalent game engines.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of how software is made and deployed, as well as the tools used for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with coding languages (C++, C#, Python).
