Position Overview

Aplin and Associates Inc is seeking a dedicated Scheduling Clerk to facilitate the efficient management of production schedules and order processing. This role is crucial in ensuring that all operations run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Compilation: Gather and organize orders and directives from clients.
  • Work Order Management: Track and finalize work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Supply Monitoring: Oversee the flow of materials and supplies across various departments.
  • Clerical Duties: Execute routine administrative tasks to support operational efficiency.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to align activities.
  • Worksheet Preparation: Create and maintain detailed specifications and worksheets for orders.
  • Production Scheduling: Consult with supervisors to optimize production runs for cost-effectiveness and time efficiency.
  • Material Estimation: Assess the type and quantity of materials and labor needed for various projects.
  • Progress Monitoring: Keep track of production timelines and milestones.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain various reports to track progress and performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide support and assistance to clients as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Office.
Work Environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.
