Assistant Coach

The SAIT Recreation department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coach to join our team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Coach with administrative, logistical, financial, and personnel requirements for the program.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Coach with program management, including scheduling, planning, and structuring.
- Assist with team-related activities, including communications, roster management, and game day support.
- Develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance student athlete development and team performance.
- Work closely with the Head Athletic Therapist to ensure a safe and healthy environment for student athletes.
- Adhere to SAIT policies, procedures, and protocols, including compliance with ACAC requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NCCP Registration and pursuit of sport-specific training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
