Assistant Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coach to join our Trojans Athletics and Recreation team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Coach in administrative, logistical, and financial aspects of the program.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Coach in program management, including administrative tasks, budgeting, and personnel management.
- Assist with team-related activities, including practice planning, game day operations, and team travel.
- Develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance student athlete development and team performance.
- Collaborate with the Head Athletic Therapist to ensure a safe and healthy environment for student athletes.
- Adhere to SAIT policies, procedures, and protocols, including compliance with ACAC requirements and SafeSport training.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NCCP Registration and pursuit of sport-specific training.
- Preferred: Degree or Diploma in a related field.
- Skills: Enthusiasm for sports, ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
